Kate Middleton goes braless: Big deal?
In case you didn’t hear recent rumblings from across the pond, Kate Middleton–Prince William’s bride-to-be–recently attended a wedding. Now that in itself really isn’t newsworthy, but it seems that her attire was. You see, young Kate chose to wear a black (gasp) dress to the wedding with a sheer top and no bra (gasp again). However, the top of the dress was covered with a velvet coat, so you could really only see the sheer top as part of the V-neck in the coat.
This caused an uproar from many of our British friends who felt she was being too “racy” for a future Queen. The British News of the World even ran the headline, “Did Kate Boob?” (I mean, really? This is all you got?)
You know what I have to say? WHO CARES.
The outfit was tasteful and she wasn’t showing her breasts (not even a little, from the pictures that I saw). (And, I’ve seen more skin on moms at preschool functions…possibly by me.)
In all honesty, I’m kind of envious of women who are, um, less endowed and have that option. I think the Brits are just trying to find something to pick about.

I remember back when Princess Diana was engaged to Charles and someone snapped a picture of her with a skirt on and no SLIP! The news was going crazy! Guess they had to find a similar story to circulate about Kate! LOL
OOO! Christin! I totally forgot about that! Now that you bring it up, I do remember feeling sorry for Princess Di when that happened.
I love how the U.S. can have a NYT bestselling author named SNOOKI who wears barely anything and is famous for drinking and sex, yet poor Kate Middleton can’t even wear a sheer shirt only seen as a small V under her jacket. What the heck?!?
Seriously? She’s in her 20′s, and perky as all get-out. If she can’t go bra-less, then what does that say about me? You know, besides the fact that I’m not in my 20′s, I’m not-so-perky anymore, and it seems that my hub is not, in fact, any kind of royalty.
