ALERT | Del Bueno Queso Cheese Recalled Due to Listeria

Del Bueno cheese of Grandview, WA., has recalled 16 oz. packages of Queso  Fresco Casero Fresh Cheese due to Listeria contamination.

Listeria is a bacteria that can lead to illness and even death in some people.

According to the FDA release, the Queso was sold in round clear plastic 16 oz. packages and stamped on the back with a code date of “Sep 14 2011.”

The product was sold in Washington state.

In November 2010 and April 2011, Del Bueno recalled cheeses for the same contamination.

If you purchased the Del Bueno brand Queso Fresco, please return it to the place of purchase for a full refund. If you have questions, please call the company at 425-503-3823 between 8:00am and 4:00pm Pacific time.
