ALERT | Recall on Lean Cuisine Chicken Fettuccini

The FDA announced a voluntary recall of LEAN CUISINE Dinnertime Selects Chicken Fettuccini due to mislabeling.

The affected meals have UPC code 13800-14880, production code 1253595911G, and  a “best before” date of October 2012. They may have been shipped to Alaska, Florida, Idaho, Oregon and  Washington State.

The dinners were accidentally mislabeled and may instead contain LEAN CUISINE Dinnertime Selects Lemon Garlic Shrimp.

Although there is no immediate danger to most, the dinners may cause reactions for those allergic to seafood.

Nestlé Prepared Foods Company, maker of the product, is asking consumers to contact them for a full refund. Call Nestlé Consumer Services (8 a.m. to 8 p.m. EST, Monday through Friday) at 1-800-542-6935.
