ALERT | Rite Aid Recalls Rich Fields Butter Cookies

Rite Aid has recalled 85,000 tins of Rich Fields Butter Cookies due to possible contamination of Bacillus cereus.

According to the FDA, the recalled cookie tins are either decorated with a castle or Christmas themes, and contain UPC codes 01249596519 and 88411804619 found in the bar code area on the bottom of each tin.

B. cereus bacteria can cause food poisoning causing general symptoms such as vomiting or diarrhea.

If you have purchased the affected cookies, please discontinue use and return the product to Rite Aid for a full refund.
