He is an attack Scrabble player and he ALWAYS kicks my ass. Not because he knows lots of words, but because he is better at math than I am and can figure out what tiles in what spot will get him the most points. I was an English major. I got an 800 on the verbal portion of the SAT. I SHOULD BE WINNING THIS GAME. And yet, I'm not. EVER. I make up for it by whooping up on him in Trivial Pursuit. Take that, scrabble boy. As a sometimes blogger myself, Words With Friends seems a more appropriate time-waster than, say, television. Bottom line, my blog has more word game posts than thoughtful entries. Distracted by WWF and TV. I will always justify my TV time as long as I can tie it back to wordplay. Blame my love of Scrabble, WWF and TV trivia for me creating my blog and the anagrams I invent. I generally only play with friends and family, all who seem to have a better vocabulary than me (despite my college degree). I am competitive but don't play words based on point value alone.
