PapaBear Kids’ Pajamas Recalled Due to Flammability Issues

Prime Parents Club Pajama Bear Recall

U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission announced a recall of children’s PapaBear Loungeabout boys and girls pajamas due to a violation of the federal flammability standard.

According to the U.S. CPSC, over 10,000 of the pajama sets by Papa Bear Loungeabouts, LLC, of Los Angeles, Calif., are being recalled for failure to meet flammability standards causing concerns for burn hazards.

The pajamas were sold as separate sets for boys and girls, and as nightgowns for girls, in sizes 0 to 6X, and 7 to 14. The pajamas have a variety of different designs.The tag has a picture of a bear.

They were sold to retailers across the U.S. from January 2004 to December 2011.

Consumers are being asked to discontinue use of the pajamas immediately and return them to the retailer of purchase for a refund, exchange or store credit.
