I’m so excited that I had the opportunity to chat with Shayna Rose (Fresh Beat Band’s original Marina and Stephanie of Days of Our Lives) and her music partner Liz Shea of 2Carats. This was genuinely one of my favorite interviews (EVER!) with two very funny and talented ladies.

Liz and Shayna should give my kids a personalized, autographed photo becuase they deserve 2carats! That and because they love the FBB, especially the “real” drummer.
I LOVE my question was the first one! My Maddys Mouth dropped open when she heard Tina from Michigan. I had to pause it to get lunch ready but I LOVE it so far and shes so beautiful AND likeable. She has that quality men love her and women would love to be her! Good job Jackie!

My children loves the Fresh Beat Band and when Shayna left the show, they were crushed. I explained to them that Shayna was getting married and she wanted to concentrate on that and they understood. I would want the photo for my children. Too many people these days don’t stay true to themselves in the public eye. These ladies have a rule to stay true to themselves and I admire that. I remember how hard it was for me to juggle being a mom, working full time as a teacher’s aid at Head Start and going to school full time. Now I’m a substitute for Head Start and I get to stay home with my children. I love it. Thanks.
FINALLY! Someone else who knows Shayna Rose was Stephanie Johnson on DOOL! I refer to her as “Racecar Driver Stephanie” (as opposed to the trampy Stephanie they replaced her with! Boy, did the character change with the most recent one! LOL). When I tell people she was “Racecar Driver Stephanie” they don’t believe me! :-)
I think Shayna and Liz should give me a personalized autographed photo because every girl deserves 2carats! :)
I loved this interview! My kids were so disappointed when there was a new Marina that we watched season 1 on Netflix over and over! ;) I wish Shayna and Liz much success.
I should get the photo because my son will think I’m awesome, and I’ll need to hang on to that moment when he’s a teenager and he hates everything I do and say.
“Hip Hop and Pop!” If I won the autographed photo (for my daughter, of course :) it would make us “Have a great day. The very best Day. And nothing could be better.” :)
