Meet Our Contributors: Robb J.

| April 16, 2012 | 0 Comments

We are starting a new series where each month we spotlight one of our contributors. These are the awesome people who write great content for this site on a regular basis, so get to know them! All of them have interesting lives far removed from this site, and many even have their own businesses and blogs.

Meet Dad Contributor Robb J.

1. What is your “real” job? (You know, what do you do besides blogging?)
My ‘real’ job is an Ergonomics Engineer. Basically, I design jobs & work stations so people do not hurt themselves while working. Things like strains, sprains, carpal tunnel, and other muscle type injuries. I have been working in ergonomics for just over 18 years now and still enjoy it very much.
2. How did you start writing for PrimeParentsClub.com?
I started writing when writing for PPC when Jackie asked if I would be interested in contributing. If you’ve read my blogs, you’ll notice I have a bit of an off-beat sense of humor. I just try to write how I think and talk.
3.Tell us a little about your family.
I am a single dad of two wonderful daughters (who live with me most of the time). Kiersten is 17 and a junior in high school. She is your typical teen girl. Cell phone, cell phone, boys, cell phone, boys, cell phone. And when she gets bored, she sometimes gets on her cell phone! My youngest, Madalyn, will be 12 in a few weeks. She is my ‘mini-me’. She’s happy-go-lucky, quirky, and loves life. She can be found scrounging through the pantry looking for a snack or finding the latest and greatest Youtube video. My girls are my world. As diverse in personality as they are, there is never a dull moment in our house!
4. Tell us one thing that would surprise your readers.
One thing that would surprise our readers is that I have actually written two cookbooks. I LOVE to cook and experiment with new dishes and ingredients.
5. Anything else you would like to share?
I have really enjoyed writing for PPC for the past year. The responses I have received from some of my blog posts have been very rewarding. Its been fun sharing some of the warped, twisted, thoughts that go on in my head (and actually have readers who enjoy it)!
