Okay, I’m going to get down and dirty honest here: our forums on Prime Parents Club sucked. Not so much the forums (because
the topics/interaction rocked), but the layout. There was this weird alignment issue that squished everything against the right-hand side and made it hard to read and interact. You noticed because, well, you’ve been avoiding them lately. (I noticed you’ve been MIA. Yes, I’m talking to you.)
Really, I’ve been frustrated with this issue, too. I’ve talked to people who looked at it and made suggestions that semi-worked or didn’t work at all. This has been going on for months.
Last week, I asked for help on Twitter. I put out a call for a programmer/developer on Twitter and … no one bit. Nothing. Crickets chirped. A few days after that, in frustration, I tweeted something like “I CAN’T BELIEVE I CAN’T FIND A DEVELOPER.”
And then? The clouds parted. Then angels sang. And, when the smoke cleared, Dave Chu was standing there … right where he tweeted a simple “How can I help you?”
I told Dave our forum problems, we talked about everything and then–in the quickest amount of time anyone has ever done anything for me–he fixed our forum alignment issues. Dave even tweaked some other things that I didn’t even know we needed until I saw the finished product.
The bottom line is this: if you’re looking for an honest, fast and knowledgeable developer to help out with some of your website issues or take your blog/site to the next level, talk to Dave. He didn’t pay me to write this post and he didn’t ask me to write this post. I was just so amazed by his level of work that I was inspired to share this with you … for free.
It’s rare today to find such quality. And, he’s funny. If you know me then you know that’s a big deal in my book.
And, while you’re here, don’t forget to check out our new forum look (and breathe a sigh of relief).
Do me a favor? Head over and thank Dave on Twitter.
(PS: Don’t book Dave all up so he doesn’t have time to continue working with Prime Parents Club!)

Hi!
I’m delighted that this helped.
I’m building most new sites with responsiveness (phones, iPads, etc.) in mind these days, but retrofitting can be surprisingly tricky – most themes were built before smaller devices took hold. For some themes I’ve seen, whiteout may be the only viable remedy! :-)
Cheers, Dave
