Watermelon Salsa Recipe
Did you know that August 3, 2012 is National Watermelon Day? Me neither – until recently that is. So, in honor of National Watermelon Day, here’s a simple salsa recipe. This recipe should be made to taste; adjust accordingly.
Watermelon Salsa Recipe
Ingredients
- 3 cups diced watermelon
- 1 cup diced tomatoes
- ½ cup diced onions
- Cilantro, chopped
- Lime juice
- Sea Salt
- Black Pepper
- Tortilla chips for dipping

Directions
Combine the watermelon, tomatoes and onions in a medium, sealable bowl. Chop the leaves from several stems of Cilantro and add to the mixture. Pour lime juice over top. Sprinkle with sea salt and pepper. Stir to mix ingredients together. Serve immediately. Refrigerate any leftovers. Note: the salsa will become watery as time passes.
