Wade Wingler : Dad Contributor

Wade Wingler is the host of the Fathers Over Forty podcast, a weekly show that covers everything from diapers to drama queens and divorce to date nights.  With a fifteen-year-old daughter, a one-year-old son and another baby on the way, there is never a shortage of interesting, funny and sometimes heart-wrenching things to discuss on his show and blog.

Wade has been writing since Mrs. Shannon handed him the chalk in Kindergarten but has only been making sense and spelling more words right in the past few years.  He studied liberal arts at Butler University and has been working in the field of assistive technology for people with disabilities for the past 20 years.

He is an insulin-dependent diabetic, a recovering long distance bicyclist, a failed weight-loss guru, sports-challenged, television-averse, a master gardener, former Ukulele philanthropist, and a spiritual wanderer.  When he’s not working, writing or recording, he’s cooking, reading or hanging out with his family and the love of his life, his beautiful wife, Jenny.
