Here’s your weekly recap of the recent Hollywood happenings:
Kat Von D and Deadmau5 are back together. I won’t lie. I didn’t know they broke up. Heck, I didn’t know they were even together TO break up! These are two celebs that I don’t get as individuals. As a couple though, somehow they make sense to me.
666 Park Avenue and Partners have been cancelled. Both of these shows had fantastic actors that drew me to the show, and kept me watching week after week even though I didn’t really like the shows themselves. Apparently strong actors were just not enough for the majority of viewers.
The rumors that Caroline Manzo and Kathy Wakile were not returning for Real Housewives of New Jersey Season Five are now said to be false. This means we’re going to get to see Caroline go head to head with Danielle Staub. I don’t even know what to expect from this season, I’m just hoping no one ends up injured.
On Dexter, Deb confessed to Dexter that she came to the church that night to tell him that she was in love with him. This is the one plot line that I just still can’t wrap my head around. I didn’t know what could possibly happen on the show once Deb discovered Dexter’s secret life, but it has only made the show more interesting. We only have a handful of episodes left, so I can’t wait to see where they go after this confession. One thing we can be sure of is that Dexter and Deb’s relationship will never be the same after that confession.
With no one willing to support him, other than his own crew, Nucky started planning his war against Gyp, this week on Boardwalk Empire. Margaret confessed to Owen that she was pregnant with his baby. At the end of the episode, Owen’s body was delivered to the suite at the Ritz Carlton. Nucky was surprised to see Margaret’s uncontrollable emotional reaction to seeing Owen’s body. Will she tell Nucky the baby was Owen’s? Will Nucky or Gyp survive the war? I have too many questions and only two episodes for them to answer them all.
It turns out that celebrities have family holiday drama just like the rest of us. Halle Berry’s ex-boyfriend Gabriel Aubry dropped their daughter off at Halle’s house to spend Thanksgiving with her mom. The details are sketchy, but somehow an altercation started between Gabriel and Halle’s new fiancé Olivier Martinez. It ended with both men in the hospital and a restraining order against Gabriel requiring him to stay away from Halle, Olivier and Gabriel’s own daughter Nahla.
Christina Perri released a new music video this week for her song Something About December. I’ve been a fan of Nick Perri and Christina Perri for years. The siblings wrote this song together and the video features clips of home movies from when they were kids. Christina has such an old and soulful voice, which makes her the perfect singer to do a good Christmas album. I’m not too keen on Christmas music, but Christina has a way of making anyone want to listen to Christmas music year round.
What was the most surprising, interesting, shocking or even boring Hollywood tidbit for you this week?
