‘Wizard of Oz’ Back in Theaters!

I may have squealed when I heard the news that they were re-releasing the original 1939 Wizard of Oz back into theaters for a limited time. Over the holidays, I watched it with my 6 year old and now she loves it as much as I do. So, the chance to experience it on the big screen with her is amazing! (I mean, who knows if or when we’ll have that experience again.)

About The Wizard of Oz

The movie is actually adapted from L. Frank Baum’s classic children’s book by the same name. In the book,  a Kansas girl takes journey over the rainbow into a magical land called Oz. During her the journey to find her way back home, she runs into (and befriends) a Tin Man, a Scarecrow and a Cowardly Lion.

Also, if you haven’t read The Wonderful Wizard of Oz with your kids (or even just for yourself), I highly recommend it!
