One of our favorite things about this time of year is that we get to break out the boots and rock some fall fashion. (Don’t you love it?) And, the best part? You don’t even need SNOW as an excuse to wear boots.
But, you may be wondering what is the best way to wear the boots and pants trend — you know, just to look normal? Do you go tucked in? Rolled up? Over the boot?
No matter your style, we’re going to give you a way to rock your fall boot look this season.
This is probably the favorite way to wear the fall boots and pants. The trick is finding tall boots that fit your leg type (they even have extended calf boots now!). Keep the pants skinny, or wear leggings, so that you don’t have trouble with bulky pant bottoms and getting boots over them.
If you’re going for casual, wear tall boot socks or even those cute boot leggings that will give a little peek over the top of the boot. This is a super cute look with skinny jeans or casual leggings.
Short boots are so great because they are a fast grab-and-go alternative. Also, we love how they can be casual with jeans or more dressy with black pants.
If your jeans are a little too long, don’t be afraid to put a little cuff, rolled up at the bottom, to just above the top of the boot.
Ok, Ok. We know this isn’t talking about pants, but we couldn’t help ourselves because there are so many ways to wear boots and skirts. Even if you’re not usually a skirt person, you might want to give it a try for the fall. You can go for the classic tall suede boot and dressy skirt, or even a more flowing or jean skirt with casual or cowboy boots.
The real trick in wearing fall boots and pants? Do what feels good to you!
